We strive to provide an outstanding value for our hunters and our 85%+ success rate on 300+ point bulls has put a lot of smiles on a lot of our hunter's faces. Whether your quest involves harvesting a trophy elk, deer or bear you need look no farther than the O'Neill Ranches. I know it sounds amazing, but we have harvested over 100 (one hundred) 300+ point bulls since 2000 with the average bull scoring between 320 - 330 Boone and Crockett Points. During the 2007, 2008 and 2009 season our client's took home bulls that scored 373, 363, 361, 356, 350 and 8 more bulls that scored in the 340's!!! Our 8585 acre private ranch is in Game Management Unit 851 and is located about 30 minutes west of Trinidad Colorado, in the beautiful Sangre De Cristo Mountain Foothills. Our "end of the road" property, with no public access, joins Ted Turner's famous 586,000 acre Vermejo Park Ranch for 4 miles along our southern border. We also share a 3 mile border with the Hill Ranch, one of Colorado's premier Ranching for Wildlife properties, that last year required 17 preference points to draw a license. There is no grand secret to our success. We simply manage the resource properly by providing the best food, shelter and water that we and Mother Nature can provide. That coupled with outstanding guides and a strict limitation on the number of hunters each year provides the optimal condition that allows us to harvest the type of trophy animals that our clients have come to expect.
